Lead Salesforce Developer
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Salesforce development and a deep understanding of service-oriented architecture, solution architecture, and IT infrastructure. This role requires proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks, as well as experience with cloud security and microservices. The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Duties
Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that align with business objectives.
Implement ETL processes to ensure seamless data integration between Salesforce and other systems.
Maintain system architecture by ensuring best practices in system design, security, and performance.
Conduct debugging and troubleshooting of existing applications to enhance functionality and user experience.
Utilize RESTful APIs for integration with third-party services and applications.
Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Ensure compliance with information security policies through vulnerability management and assessment practices.
Contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes using tools such as Jenkins or Git.
Provide support for system administration tasks, including user management, load balancing, and cloud security measures.
Experience
The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in the following areas:
Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations.
Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, Java, Ruby on Rails, or SQL.
Familiarity with database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server.
Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure along with virtualization technologies such as VMware or ESXi.
Proficiency in system engineering concepts including system hardening, computer networking (DNS, VPN), firewall configuration, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
Experience with DevOps practices including scripting (Bash/Unix shell) and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of web services protocols such as SOAP and REST is essential.
