Summary: LCDG is looking for a motivated and energetic individual to join our Pasadena office at a full-time position, to work on interesting institutional, civic, municipal, and educational projects. Responsibilities: Work under the direction of a Senior PM/PA and/or Principal Work directly with Clients and Consultants Mentor and coordinate the work of junior staff Develop construction details, utilizing LCDG standards Design, communicate and direct your engineering team Construction Administration assistance Code research and application Lead and provide project team coordination on detailed development of technical drawings, construction drawings, and specifications. Coordinate and integrate work with other project team members and consultants for smooth execution of project. Responsible for cross-coordination of architectural building systems with all engineering building systems and overall quality control for entire construction documentation. Schedule and lead project meetings from design through construction. Lead and manage construction administration efforts including shop drawings, submittals, etc. Excellent understanding of construction methods and building codes. Experience with Agencies including DSA and OSHPD a plus Qualifications: Passionate about architecture Highly organized and detail - oriented Initiative, self-motivated Time management and communication skills Able to work concurrently on multiple projects if necessary Minimum 5+ years technical experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture Licensed Architect in CA preferred CAD Management experience a plus Software proficiency: Revit & AutoCad, Microsoft suite, Bluebeam. 3D Modeling (Sketchup) is a plus, Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
