We are currently seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Payroll Manager to join our Application Managed Services (AMS) Team . This role will focus on leading client engagements within Payroll support, optimizing operational outcomes, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. Additional expertise in Time and Labor, Benefits, or other HCM modules is highly valued.
Oracle Cloud Payroll Manager – Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day client delivery for managed services support, with a focus on Oracle Cloud Payroll
Serve as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying opportunities to improve client systems and processes
Manage ticket queues, enhancement requests, and Oracle SR escalations to ensure timely resolution
Provide strategic guidance during release planning, regression testing, and adoption of new features
Develop strong client relationships through consistent communication, reliability, and added value
Mentor and guide AMS team members to support knowledge growth and delivery quality
Collaborate globally across AMS and project teams to ensure seamless client experiences
Conduct root cause analyses and recommend system or process optimizations
Apply The Hackett Group methodologies while also adhering to client-specific frameworks
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Payroll
Experience supporting clients in a managed services or post-implementation environment
Familiarity with additional HCM modules such as Time and Labor or Benefits preferred
Proficiency with reporting tools such as OTBI or SQL, and a working knowledge of Fast Formula
Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple clients or workstreams
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Experience leading client discussions, defining SLAs, and managing escalations
Payroll operations or compliance experience is a plus
Consulting background or enterprise internal leadership experience preferred
