Material HandlerOur client, Food Manufacturing Industry is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting Production and Warehouse teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Material HandlerLocation: Pico Rivera, CAPay Range: $20Shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 pmWhat's the Job?Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to move raw materials, packaging, and finished product.Supply production and packaging lines with required materials to support continuous operation.Load and unload trailers, verifying counts and ensuring proper documentation.Perform physical movement and accurate system transactions for all materials, including scanning, labeling, and inventory tracking.Maintain inventory accuracy through timely and precise material movements and reporting.What's Needed?High School Diploma or GED required.13 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.Experience operating forklifts or powered industrial trucks (PIT) required; certification preferred.Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management or ERP systems (SAP experience a plus).Knowledge of food safety and GMP requirements preferred.What's in it for me?Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.Gain valuable experience in food manufacturing operations.Collaborate with a diverse and inclusive team.Develop skills in inventory management and safety procedures.Potential for future growth within the organization.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)
