Financial Analyst

Wiss Real Estate client is seeking a Financial Analyst join their team in Middlesex County, NJ. The Financial Analyst will support the financial performance of a large residential property portfolio. This position is FULLY ONSITE. Compensation commensurate with experienceResponsibilitiesDevelop, review, and manage annual budgets for a portfolio of residential properties.Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses.Identify budget variances, investigate trends, and work with property managers to implement corrective actions.Lead monthly financial review meetings with operational teams.Prepare consolidated financial reports for leadership.Create monthly reporting packages, including income, expense, economic loss, and concessions summaries.Support leadership and finance meetings with accurate and timely financial data.Prepare lender-required financial reports, including P&L statements, T-12 reports, and rent roll certifications.Record journal entries, allocations, and expense reclassifications.Manage corporate credit card expense reporting and allocations.Maintain financial records and archive monthly property management system reports.Assist with annual budget planning and forecasting initiatives.Help develop tools and resources that improve financial understanding across property teams.Support process improvements, reporting automation, and business intelligence initiatives.Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects as needed.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.2-5+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, accounting, or property management finance.Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.Experience with RealPage, Yardi, or similar property management software is a plus.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.To all staffing agencies: Wiss does not utilize 3rd party firms for any internal or client positions.
