We provide extensive opportunities for personal and professional development, building both employee competence and organizational capability to fuel exceptional performance through an inclusive environment both now and in the future.Role ResponsibilitiesEnsure timely, high-quality delivery of software aligned to domain prioritiesSupport teams in Agile execution with a focus on velocity, quality, and valueMonitor and improve lead time, defect rates, and team healthUse DORA/SPACE metrics to optimize deployment frequency and mean time to recoverySet and enforce technical standards across teams by using the most effective and efficient tools, technologies, and processesEnsure modern architecture patterns and DevOps practices are in useGuide teams through complex technical trade-offs and scaling challengesOversee solution architecture for clinical systems, including integration with Azure, Databricks, and large-scale data systemsFoster a culture of innovation and continuous improvementPartner with EA and Solutions to determine the right solution design for our products, applications and servicesRole RequirementsStrong technical background (e.g., cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, Azure, Databricks)Bachelors degree preferred10 + years of related experience requiredExperience with large-scale data systems and HIPAA-compliant solutionsEffective people manager and mentor with experience scaling team leadershipExcellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audienceExperience in healthcare, clinical systems, or data-intensive environmentsFamiliarity with product operating models (dual-track agile, empowered teams)Experience with metrics-driven continuous improvement (e.g., DORA, SPACE)Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances.
