SummaryThe Armed Security Officer III/Sergeant ensures all performance objectives and standards are met for specific location during their respective shift. ResponsibilitiesAdministers instructions to security personnel assigned to the site and assures that all officers are familiar with the facility and their duties. Verify that all officers receive and understand new, changed, or special instructions. Assist in conducting investigations into security matters and report findings to chain-of-command and the client. Maintain security oversight of special assignments and events as directed by the client. Will review and ensure clarity, completeness, accuracy, and legibility of all written reports. Keeps post orders & operations manual accurate and up to date. Other duties as assigned QualificationsMinimum High School Diploma or GED. Must be at least 21 years of age. Minimum of four (2) years’ experience in law enforcement or a security related area, military is also acceptable for this requirement. Must meet the minimum criteria of the Interagency Security Committee (ISC) Best Practices for Armed Security Officers in Federal Facilities Minimum of two years supervisory experience. Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
