RequiredSummary of what you will do – (see organization career page post for full job description)Utilizing microscopic technique, screens glass slides according to established procedure for detecting abnormal or cancerous cells.Identifies and appropriately marks cellular abnormalities. Works in close collaboration with pathologists to provide accurate and timely diagnoses.Assists with fine needle aspiration collection and evaluation.Correlates cytologic findings with findings from subsequent biopsies.Receives and processes gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens. Produces high-quality stained slides.Maintains proficiency testing as set forth by governing bodies.
