Overview:The Retail Team Lead supports the daily operations of retail locations within the park by supervising team members, ensuring excellent guest service, and driving sales performance. This role acts asa key point of contact between management and frontline staff, helping create a positive shopping experience for all guests.Responsibilities:Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and motivate retail team members to deliver outstanding guest serviceAssist with daily store operations including opening/closing proceduresMonitor sales performance and encourage upselling and promotional participationEnsure visual merchandising standards are maintained and displays are appealingHandle guest inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a professional mannerTrain new team members on policies, procedures, and POS systemsMaintain inventory accuracy, restock merchandise, and report discrepanciesEnforce company policies, safety standards, and loss prevention proceduresSupport management with scheduling, task delegation, and performance feedbackQualifications:QualificationsPrevious retail or customer service experience requiredLeadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentBasic math and cash-handling skillsFlexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidaysPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periodsAbility to lift and carry up to 25–40 poundsComfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsPreferred SkillsExperience with point-of-sale (POS) systemsStrong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilitiesEnthusiasm for delivering memorable guest experiences
