Backend Java Engineer (No 3rd Parties Please)

I am looking for a high level Backend Java consultant to join the team at one of our top tier financial services client located in Midtown. This is a working with a distributed Java services platform running across infrastructure and AWS for AI driven initiatives. This is more of a backend engineer that will help deploy and redesign microservices for the teams AI initiatives.This is 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.Hourly rate is $100-$110/hrResponsibilitiesWork alongside our senior engineers to design and build the next generation of our Java search platform architecture.Design scalable, maintainable microservices with clear ownership boundaries and well-defined APIs.Improve deployment, release, and Java backend operational processes to enable teams to develop and ship independently.Collaborate across multiple engineering teams to plan and execute incremental platform migrations with minimal disruption.Take ownership of technical solutions from design and implementation through production deployment and support.Qualifications5+ years of professional software engineering experience developing backend systems using JavaA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a similar field of study, or equivalent work experience.Experience architecting scalable, distributed systems using industry best practices.Experience collaborating across multiple engineering teams to deliver complex technical initiatives.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.Lori SklarskiSenior Technical Recruiter, PRI TechnologyLori.sklarski@pritechnology.comDirect:(973)-354-2797Office: 973.732.5454 x27Cell: 973.432.9968www.pritechnology.com
