Your expertise in our hyper-converged hybrid cloud data management platform will be critical for a range of customers from enterprise to small businesses in your designated region.Your Responsibilities:Provide technical leadership and guidance to Federal customers and internal teams, developing comprehensive technology solutions for pre-sales activities.Assist in analyzing, designing, and implementing fully integrated technology solutions.Display technical acumen and expertise on Rubrik's offerings, distributed systems, and competitive storage solutions in the SAN space.Act as a technology consultant to create and propose solutions that align with customer business and technology needs.Deliver impactful technical and sales presentations to both technical staff and senior management at customer organizations.Establish trust as a technology advisor to customers and serve as an internal resource on technical matters within your sector.Build strong relationships with account teams, partners, and customers to support sales objectives, leveraging corporate resources as appropriate.Lead technical sales discussions and qualify sales opportunities based on customer requirements, competitive landscape, and decision-making processes.Preferred Qualifications:5-7 years of experience in sales engineering within a software or data center environment.Solid foundation in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong work ethic, resourcefulness, and a proactive "get it done" attitude.Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple calls and demonstrations daily with prompt follow-ups.Strong business acumen with experience collaborating with C suite executives, providing technology solutions for business challenges.Smart, adaptable, and open-minded in the face of challenges.Security and Privacy Responsibilities:In this role, you will have specific responsibilities to safeguard the interests of the U.S. Federal Government:Understand and comply with system-specific security policies and procedures.Protect sensitive data and individual privacy as per regulations and requirements.Ensure ongoing compliance with service and contractual obligations.Complete role-specific training and assignments in a timely manner.Promptly report security issues and assist in investigations as needed.Support controlled changes and vulnerability remediation efforts.Collaborate with Information Security on enhancing security and privacy controls.Position Risk Designation:This position involves responsibilities pertaining to U.S. Federal Government interests, which may require periodic background checks. Compensation:The annual salary for this role ranges from $136,220 to $175,000 USD for select locations, with the potential to earn commissions and equity. For other U.S. locations or remote opportunities, the salary ranges from $129,430 to $175,000 USD.
