One of the largest tech companies based in Seattle, WA is hiring multiple fully remote Claim Analyst to support the Claim Operations Team.About the role:Contract length: 6 months with potential for extension Location: 100% remote, preference to support PST hours Hours: M-F, 40 hours, 9-5pm Start date: 9/2/2024Compensation: $21/hr Job DescriptionThe Quality Auditor for Bodily Injury (BI) and Property Damage (PD) Claims is an integral part of the claims operations team. You will perform quality assurance audits on the operational and financial management of BI and PD claims. Your role will involve identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement in internal and external (third party) claims processes.Key Responsibilities: Adhere to appropriate auditing standards and leverage multiple tools to complete complicated, high-judgement investigations and decision-making on BI and PD claims. Evaluate root cause and perform data analyses to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in claims handling. Demonstrate a high level of critical thinking and process improvement mindset. Escalate trends in issues or pain points occurring within the claims processes. Work collaboratively with team members to navigate ambiguous cases and create frameworks to drive performance consistency across the claims team. Provide recommendations for training, policy updates, and system enhancements to improve overall claims management. Utilize the provided list of claims with various TPAs, access the claims system, and use the audit form to audit the claims.Requirements:3+ years of experience in claims auditing, quality assurance, or investigative roleExperience with bodily injury claims requiredExperience knowing the lifecycle of audits/claims required Bachelors degree is preferred, but experience is more important. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causesExcellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findingsWorking knowledge of insurance claims processes, regulations, and best practicesAbility to work independently and as part of a cross-functional teamPlus to be able to report back on trends on the issues.
