UX/UI DesignerHybrid in Charlotte, NC6+ months contract with extensionsJob Descriptions:The Digital Experience Design UX/UI Designer is part of a experience design (XD) team with a clear purpose: we drive user-centered design at Client for the betterment of our customers and our business groups. As a designer, you'll work as an active partner on inclusive, cross-functional XD squads throughout the digital product lifecycle to design innovative, meaningful solutions that create a desirable customer experience.Primary ResponsibilitiesLeads design activities to create industry-leading experiences for our clients, teammates and the businessOversees medium-to-large projectsOwns and tailors deliverables that balance product requirements, platform constraints, and stakeholder needs to deliver intuitive and effective design solutionsTranslates complex business requirements and functional specifications into design roadmapsDesigns information architecture, user interface, and interaction of services and experiencesContributes to and ensures designs are in line with our design system and industry best practicesCreates process and user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and interaction models, etc. resulting in low-to-high fidelity prototypesDevelops and maintains detailed user interface specifications for developmentCollaborates with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of designsWorks closely with the development team to ensure that designs are accurately implementedEvaluates new software, tools and technologies and assist in implementation of new toolsMentors junior designers and contribute to the growth and development of the teamAdvocates for user-centered design and champion user experienceStays up to date with industry trends and advancements and share knowledge and insightsParticipates in and/or conduct observational and usability researchParticipates in SAFe Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, Inspect & Adapt, PI Planning, and retrospectivesWorks with XD Accessibility Analysts to ensure designs meet our minimum requirements for accessible interface designEnsures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practicesRequirements:Experience with internally-facing applications, Figma Make experienceBachelor's degree in relevant field and six (6) years relevant experience with experience designOr High School Diploma or GED and ten (10) years of related post-secondary education and/or equivalent work experience with experience designExperience using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe, etcPreferencesExperience designing in insurance, financial, or highly-regulated verticalsWhy TalentBurst?At TalentBurst, we deliver more than talent, we deliver outcomes.
