Sr Manager, Credit & Fraud Solutions Architecture

Job ResponsibilitiesReview and recommend technical direction to optimize the integrity and adaptability of the technical design throughout the solution's lifecycle. Champion privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance (including PCI, GLBA, CFPB, and Reg E) across consumer-facing FinTech platforms. Ensure secure architecture and data design for customer onboarding, credit decisioning, account servicing, and financial transactions.Maintain system documentation, architecture blueprints, and technical standards to guide development and cross-team partnerships. Gain expert-level knowledge of product architecture and workflows through active project involvement. Participate in code reviews to uphold high-quality releases and maintain best practices. Engage and advocate with multiple vendors, fostering feature and functionality enhancements in future product releases.Partner with cross-functional teams, including Strategy, Fraud, Business, and IT Production Support, to define technology strategy and recommend scope delivery phasing and workstreams.Effectively manage technical product teams by providing direction, developmental feedback, coaching, and the necessary tools to ensure success. This includes conducting performance reviews, career-development planning, and assigning responsibilities with increasing accountability.Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging the productization of solutions for scalable and repeatable success. Manage the big picture of challenges impacting the customer experience—technical, functional, process, and policy considerations—and creatively define solutions.Education and Work ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field. (Required)7-10 years of experience, including relevant Product Management experience in an Agile software product development environment. (Required)7-10 years of experience with Enterprise Systems Architecture. (Required)5-7 years of experience with Financial Services, FinTech credit decisioning platforms/solutions (FICO, EXP, TU, EQF). (Required)2-4 years of experience in a leadership role. (Required)2-4 years of experience managing teams of 5 or more resources in a Product Management organization. (Preferred)Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAgile Methodologies – Proven success in delivering software with Agile Scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools. (Required)Agile Project Management – Experience with Agile backlog/project management tools. (Required)Configuration – Expertise in configuring and testing decision engines (e.g., FICO Platform, Experian PowerCurve), or similar platforms. (Preferred)Languages – Knowledge and proficient use of Java, JavaScript, and NoSQL. Experience with NoSQL technologies such as Aurora. (Preferred)Scripting – Advanced scripting skills in at least one of Python, Perl, or Shell and willingness to learn new technologies. Experience with source-code management tools. (Preferred)Testing – Experience with performance, load, stress, and scalability testing. Implementation of automated testing frameworks. (Preferred)Cloud Architecture – Broad awareness of open-source and AWS cloud technologies. Corporate Bonus Target: 20%. The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role.
