The successful candidate will be a strategic and relationship-oriented executive with a proven track record in negotiating strong contract rates across various lines of business. This role is pivotal in establishing and maintaining trusting relationships with payers and senior leadership, as well as in developing contract negotiation strategies that align with the company's business objectives. The VP, Payer Strategy will be responsible for leading a team to maximize the organization's success with managed care contracts and will be expected to bring a keen understanding of capitation arrangements and other payer strategies.Candidates for the VP, Payer Strategy position at the company should have senior management experience in payer contracting within a hospital/health system, medical group, or health plan environment. The role requires the ability to develop long-term strategic plans that enhance the managed care strategy model and position the company for future success. The ideal candidate will be adept at balancing the company's business objectives with the need to achieve optimal levels of financial reimbursement.
