We are looking for hard working individuals who will assist in the final build and installation of the lagoon, as well as maintain the quality of the water and systems once open. We will be looking for FT and PT, both seasonal and year-round.Pre-opening responsibilities may vary but will involve heavy lifting, working in and around the water, and setting up cleaning and testing systems. Weather and extreme temperatures are a factor; this position is mainly outdoors, but will also be inside control rooms and around confined spaces (collection tanks and other drainage units).Job SummaryWater Quality Technicians are tasked with ensuring the safety and purity of the lagoon's water. This role is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts seeking stable employment with potential for advancement. Most work will be conducted outdoors, with shifts commencing early and concluding before 4 PM.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent customer service and ensure guest and team member safety at all timesRemove leaves, debris, and other foreign materials from the pool's surface authorized equipmentMaintain equipment and chemical stock levelsTest the pool water for pH, chlorine, and other chemical levels regularly. Adjust these levels as needed to ensure safe and balanced water conditionsKeep records of pool maintenance activities, chemical levels, and any issues encounteredFollow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions and pool usageMaintain the water's pH, alkalinity, and calcium hardness within the recommended ranges to prevent corrosion and scalingStay informed about pool maintenance best practices, equipment, and chemical treatments through ongoing training and educationPerform other assigned duties as necessaryQualificationsHigh school or equivalent preferred Previous experience in pool cleaning, maintenance, or a related field is preferred. Understanding of water chemistry principles, including pH levels, chlorine, and chemical balancing, is crucial for maintaining safe and clean pool water a plusMust be able to swimFlexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Shifts may vary based on business needsStrong verbal and written communication skillsEnergetic, enthusiastic, and reliableAbility to work in water and in all weather conditions for prolonged periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 lbsThis position is located where temperatures and humidity can be extreme.
