Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) based in Florence, SC. The SLPA will assist licensed speech-language pathologists (SLPs) in delivering therapy services, implementing treatment plans, and documenting patient progress. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting clients with speech and articulation exercises, communicating effectively with clients and caregivers, and ensuring compliance with state and ethical standards in the field of speech therapy. Qualifications Possess foundational knowledge and skills in Speech, Speech Therapy, and Articulation exercises.Experience with Communication and treating individuals with Communication Disorders.Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and team members.Relevant certifications or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina).Organizational skills and attention to detail when maintaining records and implementing treatment plans.Commitment to compassionate client care and professional development within the field of speech therapy.
