The Director serves as the dedicated communications partner to the business president and leads planning, messaging and execution across all channels to support the business vision and priorities. The scope includes internal communications, executive visibility, media engagement, issues management and reputation stewardship.Key Deliverables Within This Role Include:Serving as the primary communications advisor to a global business president and supporting executive communications, visibility and engagement across all regionsDeveloping and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with business priorities and focused on clarity, culture and employee engagement while supporting broader stakeholder understandingLeading planning and execution of Town Halls, leadership events and other key internal moments that connect employees to business directionOwning channel strategy and content across intranet, email, video, digital screens and other platforms to ensure communications reach employees across all sites and regionsSupporting communications that bring clarity to business direction, operational shifts and organizational transformationCreating compelling storytelling that highlights business priorities, customer value, culture, innovation and employee successDeveloping executive social media content and visibility strategies that reinforce leadership voice and business prioritiesSupporting media related activities in partnership with Corporate Communications including message development, media preparation and coordination of interviews or public appearancesLeading issues management, crisis response and reputation related communications in partnership with Legal, HR and Corporate CommunicationsPartnering with cross functional teams to ensure message alignment and consistency across the organizationWhat You Bring:Bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations, communications, marketing or a related field; Master's degree is a plusEight or more years of experience across communications disciplines with demonstrated strength in internal communications, executive communications and organizational storytelling for a global brand or companyExperience developing and implementing communications strategies that support business priorities and leadership visibilityExposure to media relations and crisis communications with the ability to partner effectively with specialists in those areasExperience working with executive leadership and providing strategic counsel to develop communications aligned to business needsSkills That Would Help You Succeed:Inspiring and innovative storyteller with strong writing skills, deep experience in content creation and solid AP Style proficiencyExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to a variety of audiencesStrong attention to detail and accuracy and strong problem-solving skillsCustomer service-oriented mindset with a commitment to responsiveness and partnershipAbility to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organizationCollaborative working style with an interest in partnering across a global teamAbility to navigate a fast-paced environment with composure, perspective and a healthy sense of humorSalary Range: $116,300 - $200,675The range disclosed complies with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Offers within this range will be determined by considering relevant factors including education, experience, and internal alignment. This position may also be eligible for annual performance bonuses and other incentive programs.
