Dental Vision401K with 4% match Flexible spending accounts Strong Advancement OpportunitiesJob DetailsPosition SummaryThe Inside Sales / Account Manager is a fast-paced, customer-facing role combining inside sales, account management, and purchasing responsibilities within the fasteners business. This individual serves as a primary point of contact for customers while coordinating closely with outside sales, operations, and supply chain to ensure all requirements are met.This role owns key performance drivers including customer satisfaction, inventory management, margins, and on-time delivery, while actively identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary contact for assigned accounts; manage daily customer communication, RFQs, and order activityProvide pricing quotations by sourcing and validating supplier pricing, lead times, and availabilityPlace purchase orders to meet customer demand and delivery timelinesCoordinate with outside sales, operations, and supply chain to execute orders and resolve issuesManage inventory programs including consignment and replenishmentOwn account performance, including margin improvement, inventory turns, and service levels (OTD)Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure best cost, quality, and deliveryDevelop and maintain strong customer relationships and proactively identify upsell and new business opportunitiesSupport resolution of slow-moving and obsolete inventory exposureProvide technical product support to customers and suppliers within the fastener product lineStay informed on market conditions, pricing trends, and customer industry needsRequired Qualifications2+ years of fasteners experience (aerospace, industrial, or precision hardware preferred)Background in inside sales, account management, purchasing, or customer service within a distribution or manufacturing environmentProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume settingStrong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience working with ERP systems and ExcelPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting aerospace or industrial customersFamiliarity with inventory programs such as VMI, consignment, or bin stockingUnderstanding of quality/compliance environments (AS9100, ISO9001, traceability)Interested in hearing more?
