Contract Lobbyist

Description: Greater Oregon Behavioral Health, Inc. (GOBHI) seeks experienced contract lobbyist to represent GOBHI in legislative and regulatory issues impacting GOBHI within the State Of Oregon. Representation will include, but not limited to: Legislative advocacy, reputation building with a focus on key committee members, legislative leadership and agency and executive leadership. Review proposed legislation for support, oppose, amend or monitor positions and build legislative strategies accordingly. Prepare and introduce all legislation and/or amendments; assist with crafting key messages and fact sheets; preparation and delivery of testimony; engagement in stakeholder and coalition meetings; monitor agency and commission interim efforts. Regular communication and GOBHI collaboration including weekly reports (and bill tracker) during the session and monthly reports during the interim.
