We are currently searching for a Lube Technician who has a high level of integrity, is hardworking and motivated to join our team. Remodeled air-conditioned service area soon to come.Position SummaryPosition: Lube TechnicianClassification: Full Time; Non- ExemptReports To: Service ManagerWork Location: In person; 4000 Pasadena Freeway, Pasadena, TX 77503Essential Duties include but are not limited to:Conduct thorough multi-point inspections to assess vehicle condition.Communicate additional service or repair needs to service advisors for follow-up.Perform oil changes, fluid replacements, and lubrication of universal joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles using hand- or air-powered tools.Check and maintain fluid levels in steering gears, power steering reservoirs, transmissions, differentials, and rear axle housings.Monitor and adjust tire pressure to manufacturer specifications.Lubricate moving vehicle parts with appropriate lubricants.Drain and refill crankcase oil, replacing oil and air filters as needed.Add water to radiators and batteries as required.Inspect vehicles for potential repair needs to ensure quality service.Adhere to dealership policies, safety standards, and codes of conduct, minimizing exposure to fumes, dirt, and chemicals.Other Duties May be assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Basic computer skills required to maintain CRMStrong sales, communication, and customer service skillsAble to work individually as well as part of a team.Relevant Work Experience & Other Requirements:Must meet dealerships requirements for employment which include background check and drug screeningMust have a valid driver's license and be insurable based on driving record.Must be a minimum of eighteen years of ageMust be punctual and reliable.Physical Requirements:Must be able to sit, stand, and/ or walk for extended periods of timePhysical capability to bend, reach, stand for extended periods, and lift over 60 poundsCompensation & Benefits:Competitive Commission Based Pay PlanPaid Time Off401K retirement plan & annual employer matchHealth, Vision, and Dental benefitsHealth Savings AccountCompany Paid Life InsuranceDisability, Voluntary Life, & Supplemental plan optionsDiscounts, perks, and incentivesPaid TrainingOpportunity for Growth & DevelopmentSafe & Team Oriented Work EnvironmentBayway Auto Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
