Process Tech I-2nd ShiftWork Location: USA Wooster Campus - GPMShift: Shift 2 WoosterRole Type: 100% OnsiteRole ObjectiveOperates injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment and troubleshoots basic processing issues. Completes mold hanging procedures using overhead crane to move molds and equipment. Ensures cleanliness of injection molds.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesPrimary:Executes injection molding set-ups that comply with RS&B quality standardsOperates hot runner system & controllersSets molding safety parameters on IMM'sFollows quality and production processes and proceduresOperates the chiller and/or thermolator systemsMaintains a working knowledge of the facility's mechanical systemsProduces conforming parts and troubleshoots to solve part or mold issuesGeneral:Supports production team to ensure highest quality partsCompletes basic maintenance of injection molding machinesEnsures cleanliness of manufacturing floor and machineryParticipates in Lean ManufacturingEnsures safe operation and compliance with safety proceduresWorking Relationships (other departments):ProductionQualityProduction MaintenanceMaterial HandlersEducation and ExperienceHigh School graduate or equivalent (GED) required. Injection Molding Training preferred (RJG Level I preferred). Control Systems (PLC) experience preferred. Plastics and molding experience preferred. Knowledge of SPC and QC Data collection preferred. Environment, Health & Safety experience preferred.
