The core hours of this shift are: 6:00am-2:00pm, Monday through Friday. The Production Supervisor will lead a diverse team of direct labor employees in safely producing high quality medical devices and equipment for the customer directly impacting patients' lives around the world. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time.Your Responsibilities Will Include:Produce high quality products, safely, on time for the customer at the lowest costFacilitate and partner with a cross functional production team of production, quality and manufacturing engineering team members to achieve annual safety, quality, service and cost goals while maintaining a high engagement & high-performance cultureIdentify customer requirements to deliver the right products at the right timeBe responsive & flexible to customer demandsAchieve & exceed product cost goalsSupport new product development readiness activities for the line teamManufacture products to the highest quality standards and ensure compliance to all Boston Scientific policies and regulationsPromote safety, quality & compliance among the team while maintaining Good Manufacturing PracticesFoster teamwork and enable a culture of Operational Excellence throughout the entire cross-functional teamEnsure effective two-way communication between the production line team and cross-functional support teamsManage, motivate, develop, and involve product builders through coaching and performance managementEmbed the company values through demonstration & recognition of individual & team behaviorsUtilize production area planning tools to ensure all resources are in place to achieve team commitments such as Direct Labor Staffing, Equipment Capacity, Support Team, and SpaceEnsure product builder training is effective & efficient and maintain training versatility across entire teamUtilize leader standard work to ensure lines are meeting standards and escalate appropriatelyLead & create team engagement around continuous improvement goals for safety, quality, service, cost and space through the utilization of lean and operational excellence tools and best practicesBenchmark and share best practicesPartner with materials management team for build planning and material delivery systems and toolsAnalyze build plan requirements and provide forward looking monthly production commitmentsAnticipate requirements and position resources to meet & exceed the customer needsProvide appropriate input into the long-term planning of the production areaRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years' of manufacturing, engineering, or operations-related experienceSolid computer skills required including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointDemonstrated Lean tools/systems experienceContinuous Improvement experienceAble to support and lead a production team working 6:00am-2:00pm, Monday through FridayPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree1 year of supervisor/management experienceExperience in a regulated environment or the medical device industryStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organizationAbility to be flexible and agileAbility to be a self-starterThe anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role.
