Title: Supply Planning Business Analyst (Oracle)Location: San Jose, CA (onsite 1–2 days/week)Duration: Long-term contract (conversion potential after July)Interview Process: 1–2 roundsOverviewThis role supports a Demand & Supply Planning team for silicon/semiconductor products, focused on sustaining and optimizing planning operations within an Oracle Cloud environment.This is not a traditional execution role. The focus is on supporting planners by ensuring planning outputs are accurate, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining system integrity across planning cycles.The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of both supply chain planning and system behavior, with the ability to analyze outputs, identify root causes (data, configuration, or real supply changes), and provide guidance to the business.Must-Have SkillsSemiconductor supply chain experienceStrong experience in Supply Planning within structured planning cycles (weekly/monthly/quarterly)Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Planning (Demand, Supply, Inventory)Ability to root cause and debug planning outputs (data vs configuration vs true supply changes)Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain (planning, procurement, inventory flow)Experience supporting planners and business users in a production planning environmentStrong analytical skills with ability to interpret and validate planning outputsExperience in enterprise tech, semiconductor, or hardware environmentsNice to HaveExperience supporting or participating in Oracle planning implementationsExposure to procurement/purchasing flows tied to supply planningBackground in high-tech, networking, or optical manufacturingAbility to collaborate closely with architects and cross-functional teamsDay-to-Day ResponsibilitiesSupport weekly, monthly, and quarterly supply planning cyclesAnalyze planning outputs and determine validity vs system/data issuesPerform root cause analysis on planning exceptions and outliersDebug issues within Oracle Cloud planning modulesEnsure data inputs and system integrity are accurate and completePartner with planners to validate supply plans and resolve discrepanciesSupport both supply and demand planning processesCollaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to maintain system performance and planning accuracyProvide guidance to stakeholders on planning risks, inconsistencies, and system behaviorTSG is an equal opportunity employer.
