Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation, one of the world's premier dance institutions, seeks an experienced and motivated Individual Giving Manager to join the Development team. Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation is a nonprofit organization comprised of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Ailey II, The Ailey School, Ailey Arts in Education & Community Programs, and Ailey Extension. Position Summary:The Individual Giving Manager will report to AILEY's Director of Major Gifts & Individual Giving, supporting the work of the individual giving team and working closely with the special events and development operations teams. The Individual Giving Manager must possess strong interpersonal, research, writing, administrative, and project management skills with attention to detail and deadlines. Successful candidates will have data management experience.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Annual GivingServe as frontline fundraiser and primary contact for and Annual Fund donorsDevelop, plan, and prepare national multi-platform acquisition campaigns, including campaign strategy, print and digital materials, and revenue and expense budgetsWork with the marketing department on development-related collateral, such as newsletters, website, e-mails, social media posts, etc.Manage donor lists in Salesforce databaseAssists with general departmental tasksManage Friends of AILEYServe as frontline fundraiser and primary contact for Friends of AILEY members and prospectsCreate and manage stewardship plan for members and donorsAssist in appropriately and efficiently transitioning donors up the giving pipelineOversee donor acknowledgement processSteward Friends and Annual Fund donors through benefit fulfillment activities such as Friends ticketing, newsletters, and event invitationsManage Young Patrons CircleServe as frontline fundraiser and primary contact for Young Patrons Circle members and prospectsCreate and manage stewardship plan for membersAssist in appropriately and efficiently transitioning donors up the giving pipelineOversee donor acknowledgement processWork with the special events team to create cultivation and stewardship eventsManage Young Patrons Circle steering committeeResearch & Data ManagementIdentify donor prospects from ticket buyer lists, name collections, and other sourcesMaintain current data for donor recordsInterface with website and publications team to ensure accurate donor recognitionSkills/QualificationsIdeal candidates will possess:Excellent communication skillsExceptionally strong writing skillsStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environmentAttention to detail while maintaining speed and accuracyExcellent proof-reading abilitiesStrong organizational skillsKnowledge of prospect research toolsExperience/Education:Bachelor's degree required3+ years of development experienceExperience in or knowledge of dance and the performing arts fundraising environment is strongly encouragedSalesforce experience preferred, data management experience requiredStart date: ImmediateCompensation: $75,000-$80,000 with full benefitsTo apply for this position, click on the apply link and upload one file (accepted formats include .doc, .docx, .txt, or .pdf) that contains the following items:Cover letter detailing your interest in this positionResumeNo phone calls please.About Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation:
