Location: Scottsburg, IndianaJob Category: RespiratoryJob ID: 147267Facility Group: Norton Scott HospitalJob DescriptionResponsibilitiesThe Manager, Respiratory Care ensures the delivery of competent and efficient patient care through appropriate coordination of clinical services, to provide guidance in the attainment of clinical goals and to promote teamwork among all personnel to ensure that standards for clinical outcomes and regulatory agencies are met.Key Accountabilities:Assures positive working relationships exist in the departments supervised and works consistently on patient satisfaction and employee satisfaction initiatives.Communicates with staff, physicians, other departments, patients and families in a professional manner and ensures confidentiality where pertinent.Meets regularly with staff, keeps department updated of new care practices, policies and expectations. Explains safety standards and performance improvement initiatives to staff and monitors for compliance.Manages multiple staff and situations, ensures fiscal responsibility for the department to meet or exceed budget expectations.Assures that departments are in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
