Production Packer - First Shift (5852)

Machine OperatorThis is a first shift position. The hours will be Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm.American Construction Materials (ACM), a strategic business unit of ABC Supply, produces a wide array of metal building materials including trim coil, edge metal, gutter systems, and a variety of other metal accessories. If you're looking for a manufacturing position with an established company, we want to hear from you!Job duties may include:Operating machines and manufacturing equipmentCutting and feeding metal coil into machinesMonitoring product qualityFilling out and changing work orders and other paperwork as neededPackaging product per specificationsBeing trained and certified on various equipmentPerforming all duties safely and as directedQualifications include:Machine operating experience and the ability to read calipers and tape measures is a plusAbility to be cross-trained on multiple machinesPositive attitude and team playerPhysical demand:Associate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for a full 8-hour day.Work environment:100% manufacturing settingAssociate must comply with assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirement in varies areas, including but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety shoes.Associate will have exposure to typical working conditions within the manufacturing environment, including but not limited to, seasonal temperature changes, occasional exposure to exhaust fumes, dirt, dust, debris, and grease, moving forklift equipment, and pinch points on machinery.Benefits may include:Health, dental, and vision coverage - eligible after 60 days, low out of pocket401(k) with generous company match - eligible after 60 days, immediately vestedEmployer paid employee assistance programEmployer paid short term and long term disabilityEmployer paid life insuranceFlex spendingPaid vacationPaid sick daysPaid holidaysPay Rate Information:$17-19/hr.
