Job Overview *Software Developer / Application Developer* *MessageXpress – Claremore, OK * *About the Job* MessageXpress is looking for a Software Developer who enjoys building solutions, solving complex problems, and creating software that customers rely on every day. This position will work directly with our core products, including EDITrans, PDMS (Transportation Management System), and our proprietary translation platform. We're looking for someone who not only writes great code but also enjoys improving existing systems, designing new features, and helping shape the future of our technology. If you're the type of developer who sees opportunities instead of obstacles and enjoys turning ideas into reality, we'd love to talk with you. *Responsibilities* * Develop, maintain, and enhance MessageXpress software applications * Support and core products * Design and implement new software features and functionality * Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and integration issues * Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code * Develop APIs, integrations, and automation solutions * Work with SQL databases, stored procedures, and data structures * Collaborate with customers, support staff, and management to gather requirements * Participate in software architecture and product development discussions * Test, document, and deploy software enhancements * Contribute ideas that improve system performance, usability, and scalability *Required Qualifications* * Experience with C# and .NET development * Strong understanding of SQL Server and database design * Experience developing desktop, web, or enterprise applications * Knowledge of APIs, web services, XML, and JSON * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * Passion for technology and continuous learning *Preferred Qualifications* * Experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) * Transportation or logistics software experience * Knowledge of FTP, SFTP, and AS2 communications * Experience with cloud technologies and web-based applications * Understanding of software architecture and system design * Experience working with ERP, TMS, or supply chain systems *What You'll Build* At MessageXpress, you'll have the opportunity to work on software used by transportation companies, shippers, warehouses, and logistics providers.
