Process Technician

Key Responsibilities: Setup and Operation: Prepare and set up plastic molding machines for production runs. Adjust machine settings (temperature, pressure, cycle time) to optimize production. Load raw materials into machines and monitor the molding process. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Perform routine maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime. Identify and correct defects in molded parts. Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Perform regular checks and tests on molded parts using measurement tools and equipment. Document and report any deviations or defects. Process Optimization: Continuously monitor and evaluate the production process to identify areas for improvement. Implement process adjustments to enhance efficiency and product quality. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and test new molds and materials. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Participate in safety training and initiatives. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production output, and quality inspections. Prepare reports on production performance, including any issues or improvements. Proven experience as a plastic process technician or in a similar role within the plastics industry.
