This role will focus on coordinating active research projects, supporting scientific writing, assisting with IRB development, and managing submission logistics for abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.This is an ideal role for a pre-med or early-career candidate interested in clinical research, public health, or medicine.You’ll gain hands-on experience with clinical research, IRBs, and publication processes, exposure to real-world data and outcomes research, mentorship from clinical and research leadership, and experience contributing to conference submissions and publicationsWhat You’ll Do…Research Coordination & Project ManagementMaintain a tracker of all active research projects, including timelines, authors, and submission deadlinesCoordinate across internal teams (clinical, analytics) and external collaboratorsEnsure timely completion of drafts, reviews, and submissionsLiterature Review & Background ResearchConduct structured literature reviews to support abstracts, manuscripts, and study developmentSummarize findings into clear, concise briefs for internal useManage references using citation tools (e.g., EndNote, Zotero)Scientific Writing SupportDraft background sections and assist with abstract and manuscript developmentSupport development of methods sections based on existing study protocolsPrepare tables, figures, and supporting materials using analyst outputsIRB & Research Development SupportWork within existing IRB-approved protocols to support ongoing researchAssist in drafting IRB protocols and application materials using established templatesCompile and organize required materials for submissionEnsure documentation aligns with approved research scopeSubmission & Administrative SupportManage abstract and manuscript submissions (e.g., ASRM, ACOG, NAMS)Format documents to meet conference and journal requirementsTrack submission statuses and coordinate revisionsSupport preparation of posters and presentationsAbout You...Required:Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing), preferably in biology, public health, or related fieldStrong writing, organization, and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneouslyInterest in clinical research, women’s health, or healthcare innovationPreferred:Prior research experience (academic, internship, or lab-based)Familiarity with reading scientific literatureExposure to clinical research or IRB processes (coursework or experience)Experience with reference management toolsThis is a paid internship, please submit your resume and cover letter when applying. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required.
