As a Senior Product Specialist-Specialty Diagnostics, you will be responsible for selling diagnostic capital equipment and consumables to our healthcare partners. In this role, you will partner with our Fisher Healthcare selling team and customers, driving revenue growth within a defined territory for our innovative Specialty Diagnostics portfolio. This role requires focus on finding new business and rapidly growing our current customer testing needs.Key Responsibilities: Deliver an outstanding customer experience passionate about supporting our customers with their laboratory goalsSupport multiple sales representatives by providing information specific to our diagnostics portfolio, including technical information/presentations, product recommendations for customer applications, and other technical supportProspecting new customers and opportunities in addition to growing our existing customer portfolioExecute the sales cycle and process in a manner that drives results, professional, ethical, persuasive and leads the customer to actionDevelop, present and implement sales strategies and plans to expand business within assigned territory using Salesforce and other CRM tools for effective customer and business strategy managementContinuously improve knowledge of the clinical chemistry, immunoassay and microbiology market, its trends and our competitorsIndependently make decisions while using available resources to meet customer needsTeam oriented - work with a cross-functional team of supplier and internal partnersPositively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at all times throughout customer locationsREQUIREMENTS:Minimum of 3+ years of healthcare sales, medical device, or capital equipment sales, preferably in Clinical DiagnosticsBachelor’s degree required, preferably in the sciences, M.S. preferredExcellent interpersonal, collaboration, communication, and negotiation skillsMust be willing and able to travel ~50% of the timeDemonstrate the Thermo Fisher values (The Four I’s) – Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.Deep technical knowledge of assigned product portfolio and applicationsStrong understanding of laboratory workflows and customer requirementsDemonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targetsExcellent presentation and communication skills, with ability to explain complex technical conceptsExperience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong analytical and strategic planning capabilitiesAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environmentStrong relationship building and negotiation skillsAbility to analyze market trends and competitive landscapeAt Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 140,000+ extraordinary minds has a unique story to tell.
