Our PIC strives to make a positive impact on the team, and champions others to follow their lead. You are the go to shift leader in the absence of the Assistant General Manager and General Manager, representing the Earthbar brand with excellence. As the PIC, you empower the lives of our customers by providing products that are on the forefront of nutrition and innovation. Earthbar employees have a Life is Awesome mindset; and bring an added value to the community and our growing company.Summary of Key Responsibilities:Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:• Acting manager of the store in the absence of Assistant General Manger, and General Manager; leading and managing shifts.• Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Earthbar.• Maintains a calm demeanor, especially during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to Earthbar standard• Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers cues.• Delivers exceptional customer service to all customers; responds to customer needs in a timely manner.• Follows Earthbar operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all members during each shift.• Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that other team members can locate products easily.• Provides quality beverages consistently by adhering to all recipes.• Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.• Maintains regular and punctual attendanceService ExcellenceDemonstrate World Class Hospitality: GREAT Customer Service (GREAT: Greet Guests, Respect them/team, Explain the menu/company, Add-ons/app, Thank)Ensure speed of service by providing guests an incredible experience in an accurate and timely manner from when they place order (5-8 mins)Contribute to team and guest positive culture and/or environmentDemonstrate professional communication by reading verbal and non-verbal quesObtain and demonstrate retail supplement education and product knowledgeUp-share product (recommending boosts and items that compliment)Demonstrate and communicate our company core valuesAnswer phones with proper and professional etiquette (expectation before 2 rings)Adaptability (team dynamic and customer facing)Sample in-store daily and offsite at events when specified and agreed uponReview communication board for daily education, insights, and company goalsConsistently demonstrate calm demeanor: able to work in fast-paced environmentLearning/growth mindset. Ability to treat mistakes as learning opportunities for improvementOperational ExcellenceComplete daily opening and closing checklist and tasksPrepare food and beverages (such as smoothies, juices, acai bowls, toast, lattes) to build guide recipe and standardsEnsure correct measurements when following all food and drink recipe preparationsComplete tasks in a timely manner as designated by managementStock incoming orders and merchandising product accordinglyFill out waste log and other tracking documentsWash blenders and kitchen utensilsTaking timely duty-free meal period(s) and/or rest break(s)Be proactive to communicate to management if product is running lowComfortable with excessive noise from blenders, juicers, and other equipmentFulfill 3rd party and online orders accurately and in a timely mannerFollow daily and weekly deep cleaning calendar in storeContribute and provide feedback for closing manager reports each dayProficiency in the use technology and POS systemsPossess a Food Handlers Certification if required by local ordinanceCheck expiration on made to order and retail product offerings, dailyPractice First In First Out (FIFO )product handlingFollow all safety and health guidelinesConduct sampling eventsLeadership Competency:Ensures AccountabilityCourageDirects workCollaboratesSelf-DevelopmentQualifications:• Ability to move and or lift up to 50lbs.• Ability to quickly learn new procedures, processes, and product knowledge• 1-2 years of experience in food/beverage environments making smoothies, and/or specialty beverages, or experience in retail and hospitality• Barista, Nutrition, and Culinary education experience a plus!• Must have (or obtain) a California Food Handlers License (i.e., ServSafe) prior to employment.Shifts:• Part-time/Full-time• Hours vary Monday-Sunday, early morning to evening shifts• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, with or without reasonable accommodationEarthbar, LLC provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
