Private Credit Associate

A credit alternatives platform based in New York City with ~$7B AUM is seeking a Private Credit Associate or Senior Associate to join its lean, high‑performing team. The Private Credit Associate/Senior Associate will take on a broad set of responsibilities across origination, underwriting, deal execution, and portfolio support. Responsibilities: Underwrite and execute new private credit investmentsBuild detailed LBO and cash‑flow models and lead diligencePrepare investment memoranda for credit committeeSupport deal execution from initial screening through closingSource new opportunities and engage with sponsors, intermediaries, and business ownersReview and help negotiate term sheets and credit documentation alongside counselQualifications2-5+ years of relevant experience (IB or private credit / principal investing preferred)Strong financial modeling and analytical skill setClear, concise investment writing and communication skillsInterest in a lean, entrepreneurial environment with high visibility and upside
