Financial Analyst - Intern

What We NeedCorpay is currently looking to hire a Financial Analyst Intern within our Stored Value Solutions division. This position falls under our Corporate Payments line of business and is located in Louisville, Ky. In this role, you will support the Finance and Accounting departments with general accounting duties, financial data, and analysis, that assist in understanding the direction of the business and making informed decisions. You will report directly to the SVP of Finance and regularly collaborate with Finance and Accounting team members.How We WorkAs a Financial Analyst Intern, you will be expected to work in an on-site environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:Assigned workspace in the Louisville, KY officeCompany-issued equipmentFormal, hands-on trainingRole ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the role will include:Supporting a variety of accounting functions: A/P, A/R, invoicing, audit compliance and all related analysisSupporting a variety of finance functions: data compilation, review, and analysis to meet various needsProviding ad hoc analysis and reporting as necessary.Qualifications & SkillsFinance or accounting major with GPA 3.0+ Self-starter requiring minimal hands-on directionSound knowledge of finance and accounting principlesExcellent quantitative/analytical skillsProblem-solving and critical thinking skillsStrong level of personal organizational skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsDetail orientedAbility to handle multiple assignments promptly and effectivelyHigh proficiency in ExcelKnowledge of accounting and query-based systems is a plus
