Operations Lead

Well established and growing company is looking for a Bilingual (Spanish) Operations Lead for its facility in Newnan, GA. The Warehouse Lead will coordinate with other team members to ensure that our warehouse is organized, clean, safe and our small animals are cared for properly. The ideal candidate must be able to work Sun - Thursday 8am-4:30pm. Responsibilities: Clearly understand every protocol for quality and care, related to this segment, established both by Apet and its individual customers, and ensure every animal shipped meets each protocol. Works closely with purchasing team to order small animals. Orders inventory from vendors and suppliers and securing shipment arrival times. Prints labels for orders to be shipped. Unloads, organizes and places animals in the appropriate enclosures in accordance with Apet’s standards of care. Provides daily visual inspection of all animals, enclosures, and products and notifies management of any issues or concerns. Safely selects and packs birds and small companion animals for delivery to customers. Provides additional support for warehouse operations as needed. Other duties may be applied. Skills and Qualifications: Maintains safe and compassionate animal handling practices, at all times, while performing job duties. Ability to work independently. Willingness to learn about all aspects of the animal care industry. Bilingual (Spanish) Physical Demands: Employee is frequently and regularly required to lift and carry in excess of 30-50 pounds, stoop, kneel or bend. The ability to stand for long periods of time is required. The ability to transport, handle and place animals in their appropriate enclosures is required. Employee must be able to move animals for shipping or that are received, including pushing, bending, kneeling, and twisting. In performing duties, employee is regularly required to use hands to grasp; and to reach with hands and arms, at or above shoulder level. Ability to work in a moderately noisy environment.
