This is a strong opportunity for an experienced electronics quality professional with hands-on PCBA inspection, SMT inspection, IPC-A-610, AOI, X-ray, and supplier quality experience.In this role, you will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of electronic assemblies and PCBAs at supplier locations. Your work will directly support product quality, supplier alignment, design validation, and production readiness for a highly technical aerospace manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Perform visual, dimensional, incoming, in-process, and final inspection on electronic assemblies and PCBAsInspect SMT and through-hole assemblies against IPC-A-610 requirementsReview solder quality, solder fillet height, barrel fill, component placement, workmanship, and board-level defectsSet up and operate 3D Automated Optical Inspection / AOI equipmentSupport digital X-ray inspection of electronic assemblies as neededVerify parts and assemblies against engineering drawings, specifications, and process requirementsUse precision inspection tools such as calipers, pin gauges, Keyence systems, Faro Arm, Romer Arm, CMM, OMM, and related inspection equipmentDocument nonconformances and support MRB / supplier rejection processesConduct First Article Inspection and generate reports in compliance with SAE AS9102 as requiredWork with supplier quality, engineering, manufacturing, and production teams to resolve quality issuesRequired QualificationsHands-on experience inspecting PCB, PCBA, SMT, or electronic assembliesWorking knowledge of IPC-A-610Ability to identify and explain electronic assembly defects, including solder fillet height and barrel fillExperience making pass/fail inspection decisions on PCBAs or electronic assembliesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, inspection documents, and process specificationsExperience documenting nonconformances and supporting MRB or rejection processesProficiency with MS Excel and quality documentationStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a supplier-facing environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with J-STD-001Experience with AOI, 3D AOI, AXI, or digital X-ray inspectionExperience in aerospace, defense, medical device, EMS, semiconductor, or high-reliability electronics manufacturingSupplier quality or source inspection experienceFirst Article Inspection / AS9102 experienceExperience using Keyence, CMM, OMM, Faro Arm, Romer Arm, PolyWorks, calipers, gauges, or related inspection toolsExperience with Class 2 or Class 3 electronic assembliesSoftware/Tools Used:3D AOI EquipmentIPC-610 and J-STD-001 standardsKeyence, CMM, OMM, Faro Arm and Romer Armdigital X-Ray inspectionsPolyWorksCMMMS ExcelIf you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
