Sales Executive

One of our luxury jewelry clients is looking for a Sales Executive.This is for their shop in Montecito. Will be fully in person at the shop. This is a contract role with potential to become full time permanent if everything is going well. 36-40/hours a week. 4% commission on sales. The average unit sale price is around $45k.This person will be responsible for building their customer base in the region - they are not a heavy \"walk in\" brand, so both cultivating existing clients, and developing and executing strategies to bring in new customers will be critical for this role.ResponsibilitiesGenerate and manage client relationships through innovative business ideas and traditional clientelingRepresent brand at meetings, events, charity dinners, etc.Initiate and manage activities for new product launches, events and activitiesDevelop store team’s performance goals, and update management through reporting metrics.Provide customer service to support the growth of sales and client retentionAttend key brand functions as needed, including trade shows both domestic and abroad.QualificationsMinimum 5 years proven track record in high-/ ultra-luxury salesExcellent understanding of the luxury client experience, with success acquiring and retaining customersComfort with Excel, Word, Outlook. Must be able to work with platforms such as BusinessMind and NavisionDemonstrated expertise using social media to support customer acquisition and retentionAbility to travel in the US market and abroad up to 30%Flexibility to work on evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed.Fluency in a second language is a plus.
