Speech Therapist in San Jose, CA

Seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for a full-time contract position within a preschool program. This role involves working with children in a K-12 public school setting from March 30 through June 3, providing specialized speech and language services. The position is based in San Jose, California, and offers a caseload of approximately 14 students.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for preschool-aged children.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs.Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support student communication goals.Document progress and maintain accurate records according to district and state guidelines.Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.Qualifications:Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).Experience working within school-based settings, preferably preschool programs.Knowledge of K-12 school regulations and individualized education plans (IEPs).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Location: San Jose, CAContract Duration: March 30 - June 3Work Schedule: Full-time, approximately 30 hours per weekCaseload: 14 students in a preschool program within a K-12 schoolThis contract offers a rewarding opportunity to impact early childhood development through speech and language therapy within a public school environment.
