DescriptionLeidos is seeking a Software Engineer for a 200+ FTE technical development program supporting the Sponsor's Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. The Software Engineer will work with a large team of developers, software engineers and data engineers. The successful candidate will support continuity of our customer's mission by helping to modernize and implement industry standards while ensuring secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of IT systems.Primary Responsibilities:o Comfort and familiarity in maintaining legacy applicationso Experience in modernization of legacy applicationso Ability to write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instanceso Experience leveraging Amazon Web Serviceso Experience creating RESTful APIo Experience with spring booto Develop Java and Angular (Typescript) that leverage Elasticsearcho Comfort and familiarity designing and utilizing custom ETL methodologyo Strong communication, design, and documentation skillso Strong time and workflow management skillso Comfort and familiarity in unit testing, peer code review, and automated testing techniques like Selenium (create, edit, maintain, execute)o Work within the parameters of Agile & Scrum methodologieso Willingness to mentor and teach junior developers' community best practices in a constructive fashiono Ability to methodically think through new and exciting challenges in a collaborative team environment in order to provide technically sound solutionsRequired Qualifications* Active TS/SCI with Polygraph* BS degree and 12+ years of experience* Must have experience with Java, spring boot, Angular (Typescript), and the Cloud / Amazon Web Services* Prior experience reading and developing solutions to customer requirements and specifications* Prior experience developing custom ETL* Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, selenium, and Rundeck* Experiencing working in Command Line (RH Linux)Desired Qualifications* Understanding and knowledge with Identity and Accessibility development practices* Experience with automation methodologies like selenium* Experience with containerization and modular development* Familiarity with UI/UX Design* Full Stack Development* Certification - Amazon Web Services (AWS)FIPIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
