Construction Superintendent

Owen Thomas Group are working with a leading Florida General Contractor, assisting them in their search for a Superintendent to work on a range of Commercial, Retail and Industrial projects up to the value of $50M.Duties:Supervises field staff and enforces productivity, safety, and performance standardsEnsures adherence to safety programs, procedures, and documentation requirementsKeeps drawings, RFIs, and project documentation accurate and up to dateParticipates in project meetings and trainings as neededCoordinates subcontractors and vendors to maintain project timelinesIdentifies delays early and works with team to create recovery plansAssists with job cost setup and tracking for self-performed workEnsures accurate purchase orders, invoicing, and pay applicationsVerifies subcontractor work aligns with scope, budget, and timelineSupports contract compliance and negotiates back charges as neededMaintains clear documentation and updates as-built drawings.About You:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or 5+ years of related commercial construction experienceStrong knowledge of construction practices, safety regulations, and building codesSkilled in construction scheduling, cost control, and risk management
