Dallas, Texas - 2026-05-19The mission of Purchase To Pay (P2P) is to leverage resources by consolidating vendor master setup, tactical purchasing, accounts payable, and expense statements into a single organization. The P2P team facilitates the process from vendor setup to order placement to payment to the provider. By combining these areas, we can effectively improve processes, tools, and policies to create value beyond transactional efficiency.PURCHASING ASSISTANTS AT TSP TYPICALLY HAVE THE FOLLOWING JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Create purchase orders for goods and services in line with standard processes and cycle time expectationsExamine and analyze purchase requisitions and quotes for completeness and accuracy of informationMaintain a queue of incoming purchase requisitionsUpdate delivery schedule and pricing based on vendor acknowledgment, and ensure that the purchase and receipt are properly documented and recordedExecuting PO change requests in a timely mannerInterface effectively with vendors, accounts payable, vendor master, and logistics departmentsResolve problems with invoices, supplier maintenance, and receiving discrepanciesCollaborate with procurement teams to manage orders based on lead times, business needs, and price changesDiligently understand and follow policies and business rules that relate to purchasing activitiesDevelop a strong understanding of all P2P processesSupport and contribute to global P2P prioritiesUtilize reports to work and resolve issues as identifiedRespond to vendor and internal inquiries or issues in a timely mannerUse knowledge gained from daily activities to recommend process improvementsUnderstand the impact of process changes outside of P2PTHE IDEAL PERSON FOR THIS ROLE WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE SUCH AS:High School diploma or equivalentExperience with transactional processes or data entry in SAP or a similar ERP systemIntermediate level of computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Outlook, SharePoint, and ExcelCapacity to work independently or within a team environment, follow directions, troubleshoot, and meet goals and objectivesAbility to manage time and execute tasks efficientlyMeticulous attention to detail, multitasking skillsMust be an independent thinker, and have the ability to make quick decisions, tough decisions, and drive the best results for the companyMust have organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skillsConfidence in approaching and communicating with internal and external stakeholders across all organizational levelsStrong verbal and written communication skillsHigh attention to detailGood customer service skillsNegotiation and conflict resolution skillsPreferred Qualifications And SkillsPrevious professional data entry experience preferred/beneficialAdvanced level of computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Outlook, SharePoint, and ExcelAdditional Information About This RoleMust be able to accommodate early morning or evening global conference calls and interact with global team members and stakeholdersBilingual candidates (English/Spanish) preferredPay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hourView our benefits information here: https://marketing.mytsp.net/tsp-benefitsCandidates must be authorized to work in the United StatesWE ARE TSPTSP is award-winning, customer-endorsed, and minority-owned.
