Formulation Chemist

Job Description This position is a salaried research and development position responsible for developing and testing primarily waterborne dispersions for paperboard and other packaging applications. The ideal candidate will have experience formulating and testing pigment dispersions for waterborne printing inks and coatings. The candidate will need to have noted experience running laboratory mills and analyzing dispersions for quality utilizing the appropriate test methods. The ideal candidate will also have experience developing dispersions for ink-jet applications.The position will report to the Technical Director – NA P&B for Flint Group in West Chester, Ohio, but will be part of a global team responsible for pigment dispersions across the globe. As such, it is expected that the position will report daily into West Chester, but we may be open to Charlotte or Atlanta for the right candidate.
