We are seeking an experienced and service-oriented Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our growing team.Position SummaryThe Employee Benefits Account Manager serves as a primary point of contact for employer group clients, supporting the day-to-day management and servicing of employee benefits programs. This role works closely with producers, carriers, and clients to ensure excellent customer service, accurate policy administration, and proactive account management.The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, client-focused, and thrives in a collaborative environment.ResponsibilitiesManage and service a book of employee benefits accountsBuild and maintain strong client relationships through responsive and professional communicationAssist clients with medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefit plansCoordinate renewals, open enrollments, and benefit implementation activitiesPrepare proposals, spreadsheets, presentations, and enrollment materialsServe as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve eligibility, billing, claims, and coverage issuesProcess policy changes, renewals, applications, and documentation accurately and timelySupport producers with client service needs and account strategyMaintain accurate client records and agency management system documentationStay informed on industry trends, compliance updates, and carrier productsQualificationsPrevious experience in employee benefits or group health insurance preferredActive Life & Health insurance license preferred (or ability to obtain)Strong communication and customer service skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and OutlookAgency management system experience is a plusProfessional, dependable, and team-oriented attitudeWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation based on experienceSupportive, family-oriented work environmentLong-term career stability with an established agencyPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional development and growthCollaborative team culture focused on client relationships and service excellenceJoin Our TeamIf you are looking for an opportunity to grow your career with a respected, family-owned agency that values relationships, professionalism, and community, we would love to hear from you.
