Technical Trainer

MCI is a 46-year-old industry leader in the design, manufacture, and assembly of electrical controls, electrical enclosures, irrigation pumps and controls, municipal and commercial pump stations, water purification systems and design-to-order metal fabrications. We serve a variety of industries with standard and custom products including water pumping, oil production-drill and refining controls, waste water treatment, conveying, baggage conveying, handling, and process control to name a few.OverviewWe are seeking a Technical Trainer to lead employee training in electrical systems, workplace safety, and OSHA compliance for our manufacturing operations in Dallas. This position is responsible for developing and conducting training programs for production employees, electricians, assemblers, technicians, and supervisors. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, OSHA requirements, lockout/tagout, arc flash, PPE, and safe work practices, along with the ability to teach and communicate effectively.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver hands-on and classroom training programs for electrical assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and safe work practicesTrain employees on OSHA requirements, including lockout/tagout, hazard communication, PPE, machine guarding, confined space, fall protection, and electrical safetyConduct new employee orientation and ongoing refresher trainingCreate and maintain training materials, presentations, procedures, and recordsAssist with development of standard work instructions and safety proceduresPerform training assessments and verify employee competencyWork with supervisors and managers to identify training needs and improve performanceSupport accident investigations and recommend additional training when neededMaintain records to ensure compliance with OSHA and company requirementsRequirementsQualifications:5+ years of experience in industrial electrical systems, manufacturing, safety, or technical trainingStrong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and electrical safety requirementsExperience training employees in a manufacturing or industrial environmentAbility to read electrical schematics and explain electrical systems and troubleshooting proceduresStrong communication and presentation skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and training documentationOSHA 30, OSHA Outreach Trainer, NFPA 70E, or similar certifications preferredExperience with PLCs, VFDs, control panels, and industrial equipment preferredBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision coverage (Include plan options that are 100% employer-paid!)401k with employer matchQuarterly bonus programPTO and Paid HolidaysBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRelocation assistanceVision insuranceWork Location: In personExempt : NoType : Full TimeDepartment : Sales
