A skilled Registered Nurse with a strong background in the Operating Room is needed for a contract assignment. This role is ideal for professionals capable of providing safe and effective care to surgical patients while collaborating with surgeons and perioperative teams.Schedule/Hours:3x12 hour evening shifts (36 hours per week)1 to 2 call shifts per weekEvery 3rd or 4th weekend eveningQualifications:Active RN licenseBLS certification required3-5 years of dedicated OR RN experienceFamiliarity with trauma surgery preferred, though not mandatoryExperience with general surgery, GYN, GU, ENT, orthopedics, and robotic proceduresExcellent communication and critical-thinking abilitiesKey Responsibilities:Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical proceduresCoordinate safety and high standards of patient care with the surgical teamPrepare the operating room by ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready and sterileSupport surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical assistants throughout proceduresMaintain accurate and timely patient recordsRespond effectively to emergent situations and follow appropriate protocolsProvide compassionate care and guidance for patients before, during, and after proceduresBenefits/Perks:Opportunity to expand skills in a fast-paced surgical settingCollaborative, supportive environment with a knowledgeable clinical teamExperience diverse surgical specialties, including complex and trauma cases
