Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Role: DevSecOps Engineer Location: Remote in USA Duration: W2 Contract (Independent candidate on W2) Lead engineering for Internal Developer Portal (IDP) capabilities, ensuring scalable, secure, and self-service developer experiences aligned to enterprise platform standards. Required Skills & Experience Backstage (IDP frameworks) Harness (highly preferred) Proficiency in React / TypeScript and Python Strong knowledge of: Cloud-native architectures APIs and microservices CI/CD and DevSecOps practices Experience leading platform engineering teams Ability to translate strategy into execution and measurable outcomes Key Responsibilities Drive end-to-end delivery of IDP platform capabilities (design → build → deploy → support) Lead engineering efforts across Backstage/Harness-based platform architecture Provide technical leadership to onshore/offshore (GCC) engineering teams Partner with Product Owner, Architects, and KP stakeholders Ensure alignment with developer experience and platform strategy Enable adoption of self-service, cloud-native developer workflows Deliver measurable improvements in developer productivity and platform utilization Thank you Praveen 972-737-8620 Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
