Program Manager Position: Program Manager Category/Type: Full-Time, Exempt, Salaried Salary Range: $62,000–$70,000 Reports to: Executive Director Location: ARCK Creativity Lab, Fenway/Boston, MA Supervises: Catalyst Educators, Teaching Artists, Mentors, Creative Catalyst Council Members, Program Interns Overview / Position Summary Art Resource Collaborative for Kids (ARCK) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization reimagining education through the arts to help middle and high school youth build confidence, ignite creativity, and discover their purpose. Rooted in equity, artistic expression, social-emotional learning, and civic engagement, ARCK empowers students to become changemakers in their schools, communities, and beyond. ARCK is seeking a full-timeProgram Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of ARCK’s in-school and Creativity Lab programming. This role ensures that ARCK’s programs are implemented with quality, consistency, care, and alignment to the organization’s mission and framework. The Program Manager will manage and mentor Catalyst Educators, teaching artists, mentors, Creative Catalyst Council members, and program interns who bring ARCK’s three interconnected studios —I Am, You Are, We Are — to life for middle and high school students across Boston Public Schools and through the Creativity Lab in the Fenway. This is a community-facing role that requires strong teaching experience, nonprofit education experience, program management skills, and a deep commitment to youth development, creativity, equity, and belonging. The Program Manager does not lead curriculum development. Curriculum development is guided by the Executive Director and Board through ARCK’s Program Committee. The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring strong implementation, educator support, program logistics, student engagement, data collection, and partner communication. Key Responsibilities Program Implementation & Delivery Oversee the day-to-day delivery of ARCK’s in-school and Creativity Lab programs. Ensure program sessions are implemented with consistency, quality, and alignment to ARCK’s mission, values, framework, and curriculum. Support program schedules, staffing, materials, attendance, and daily logistics. Ensure students, mentors, artists, educators, and partners feel welcomed, prepared, and supported in the Creativity Lab and school-based programs. Monitor program quality and provide real-time support to educators, artists, mentors, and interns. Help translate curriculum plans into clear implementation steps for educators and teaching artists. Educator, Teaching Artist & Mentor Management Manage, support, and mentor Catalyst Educators, teaching artists, mentors, Creative Catalyst Council members, and program interns. Create and maintain onboarding and training protocols for educators, teaching artists, mentors, and volunteers. Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure strong teaching practices and youth-centered facilitation. Help build a collaborative culture among educators, artists, mentors, and program partners. Support professional development and reflective practice for program staff and teaching teams. Student Registration, Onboarding & Engagement Oversee student registration, enrollment tracking, and onboarding for Creativity Lab and related programs. Support communication with students, families, schools, and community partners. Ensure students understand program expectations, learning goals, schedules, and opportunities. Help create a welcoming and inclusive environment where students feel safe, seen, heard, and empowered. Support student showcases, community presentations, and culminating program experiences. Program Data, Evaluation & Impact Collect, organize, and analyze program data, including attendance, participation, student outcomes, feedback, and impact stories. Track student growth in areas such as creativity, confidence, communication, collaboration, social awareness, and civic engagement. Support surveys, reflection tools, rubrics, and evaluation processes. Share program data, insights, and recommendations with the Executive Director to support organizational learning and decision-making. Help prepare impact summaries for grants, board updates, fundraising materials, and partner reports. School & Community Partner Communication Maintain strong communication with Boston Public Schools partners and other program collaborators. Coordinate program schedules, classroom needs, teaching artist placements, and partner expectations. Help maintain school contracts, partner documentation, and program records. Serve as a warm and professional point of contact for educators, families, mentors, artists, and community partners. Support ARCK’s visibility and relationship-building within schools and the broader Boston community. Program Operations & Cross-Team Collaboration Work closely with the Operations Coordinator to ensure program schedules, supply inventory, space readiness, and partner communications run smoothly. Track program supply needs and coordinate materials for school-based and Creativity Lab programming. Support event logistics related to student showcases, workshops, mentor sessions, and community gatherings. Collaborate with the Executive Director, Founder/CEO, Operations Coordinator, and Program Committee to align implementation with ARCK’s strategic goals. Supervise program interns and help them stay organized, engaged, and aligned with ARCK’s program priorities. Qualifications: Qualifications 4+ years of experience in education, youth development, arts education, nonprofit programming, or a related field preferred. Teaching or facilitation experience with middle and/or high school students required. Experience managing educators, teaching artists, mentors, volunteers, or interns strongly preferred. Background in education, curriculum implementation, youth development, arts integration, or social-emotional learning. Nonprofit education experience preferred. Strong program management, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, relationships, timelines, and program details. Experience collecting and organizing program data, student outcomes, surveys, or evaluation materials. Comfort working with diverse students, families, educators, artists, and community partners. Strong commitment to equity, creativity, belonging, and student voice. Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management tools such as Trello or similar platforms. Familiarity with Boston Public Schools or community-based education programs is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in education, arts education, youth development, social work, nonprofit management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
