Deputy Sheriffs are constitutional law enforcement officers acting under the authority of the Sheriff. They must demonstrate professionalism and superior customer service for citizens and visitors requesting general information or guidance. In addition, respond to volatile circumstances and remember that their personal actions reflect on the whole of the agency and the Sheriff.
