We value our employees' talents, skills, and abilities, and strive to create an open, cooperative, and dynamic work environment.Job Summary:The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and systems, ensuring they meet specified tolerances and operational requirements.Assemble mechanical components and sub-assembliesAlign, fit, and join parts using fixtures, tools, and power toolsPerform soldering, welding, and other fabrication tasksRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagramsUse measuring tools and laser alignment toolsInstall and remove bearing sealsInspect completed assemblies and conduct functional testsCompetencies:Problem-solving and attention to detailKnowledge of hand and power toolsUnderstanding of welding processes and blueprint readingAbility to read orders and follow safety proceduresPhysical Demands:Frequent standing, walking, and liftingOccasional sitting, climbing, and balancingAbility to lift and move up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 25 to 50 pounds regularlyRequirements:High school diploma or GEDOne year of related experience and/or trainingCrane experience preferredAbility to pass a drug screen, physical, and background checkGWBI offers a comprehensive compensation package, to include:Competitive base payPTO7 Paid holidaysContributory medicalVoluntary dental and vision insurance401K retirement plan with up to a 4% matchVoluntary short and long-term disability insuranceCompany paid life insuranceBoot Reimbursement up to $125 per yearUniform Rental ProgramReferral Program up to $1000 per referralGWBI is an equal opportunity employer
