In this role, you won’t just estimate projects, you’ll help shape how projects are built, priced, and won.This position is ideal for a highly analytical and collaborative estimator who thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates confidently with stakeholders, and brings deep experience in industrial electrical construction.Key Responsibilities· Manage the full electrical estimating process by reviewing drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate, competitive estimates· Prepare conceptual budgets, detailed takeoffs, and final proposals for both design-build and plan/spec commercial and industrial projects· Analyze labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and indirect costs using historical data and productivity metrics to support accurate pricing and forecasting· Collaborate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, engineers, and internal teams to define scope, identify constructability concerns, and ensure project success· Develop bid strategies, value-engineering options, and cost-saving solutions that improve project efficiency and overall value· Lead client communication, scope reviews, project meetings, and project turnover to operations teams· Support post-bid activities including change orders, cost analysis, and process improvementsQualifications3–7 years of industrial electrical estimating experienceDegree in a construction-related field or equivalent hands-on industry experienceStrong understanding of both design-build and plan/spec project delivery methodsAbility to interpret complex electrical drawings and translate them into accurate cost impactsExperience with Accubid preferredProficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office SuiteFamiliarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Project preferredStrong communication and leadership skills with the ability to lead client and team discussionsDetail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of performing effectively under tight deadlinesCompensation & DetailsSalary: $100,000–$125,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and educationLocation: Greeley, ColoradoTravel: Approximately 15% travel to project sitesBenefitsRetirement plansCompany paid health, vision, and dental insurancePaid time off, paid holidays, and flexible schedulingPerformance bonusesCompany provided phone80 hours of paid vacation + paid holiday after 30 days of employmentLife insuranceWhy E&T Electric?At E&T Electric, our success is built on integrity, responsiveness, quality, and relationships.
